I would like to know if a 1999 Mercedes-Benz C230 Sedan, is 1. Expensive to maintain, and 2. is it known to be a headache of issues to keep repairing. Bottom line, how reliable is this car? Know better? Share your own opinion in the comments!

I have a 1999 E320 Mercedes and I am having problems getting them to make the repairs due sludge. Mercedes settled a suit for sludge in Mercedes Benz in cars built from1998 – 2001. I want to know if anyone had problems getting the repairs done and the process that they went through to resolve the problems. I was thinking about purchasing a newer BMW 3 series or Mercedes Benz C-Class vehicle but my mother told me not to because the maintenance is pricey. I have a 1998 C280 Mercedes Benz and the “check engine” light has come on. I immediately called the repair shop and am bringing it in on Monday.
