its got california emissions setup wthh 2 cats one small one on downpipe if i were to replace the stock downpipe with one with no small cat on it along with new headers cat muffler and tailpipe whoud it cause me any problems as far as sensors or back pressure? and would doing this increase flow? What do you think? Please share below!

How do I repair an EVAP problem that causes code P1494 on 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Different mechanic, different code. The latest computer scan provided a code for P1494. We reset the code and the engine light came back on. Any suggestions for problems that would result in this error code. Mechanic says its the EVAP system. Haynes book says to check hoses and replace the charcoal canister. But, the parts store does not have canisters and said that they never need to be replaced. Is there something read more

Help! Jeep Repair Dilemma!?

The check engine light comes on, the vehicle sputters and hesitates and ends up having to be towed. This has happened 6 times in 2 years. It is out of warranty so it is out of my pocket. It has 81k miles. The Jeep service dept tells me they have never seen so many computer/wiring problems on any Jeep vehicle, so my question is, is this a lemon? It seems silly to ask at 81k miles, but I’ve put thousands into it to read more
