I’m not good smart with cars so bare with me, It started with the temperature getting hot. Then I went to start it and it sounded like a big clank under the hood. but was still running so i drove it around the block and white smoke was coming out of the exhaust. What do you think? I’ve got a 60 month, 60,000 mile powertrain warranty on my 2004 Chevy Aveo. I’ve only got 54,000 miles on it, and of course it’s well under the 5 year mark. They said that the timing belt is broken and there’s a problem with compression in two of the cylinders and that they’re NOT covered by the powertrain warranty. I have a 1993 s10 blazer. the shocks are good and the engine runs strong. I was wondering if anyone thinks this can make it across country. ei 1000 miles from here to there. there is nothing wrong with it just the bushing on my stearing causing it to knock when i turn. but anyways i can going to get that repair. i waned to take that trip this summer after i get an oil change and transmission flush. change the spark plugs. read more
1996 chevrolet astro blower motor resistor and harness plug.

My 96 astro van has a burnt resisitor and burnt plug that goes in to it. I have looked everywhere on the internet and in parts stores for a replacement Repair Harness for the Blower Motor Resistor. I am able to buy the resistor pack itself but not new wires that plug into it. Does anyone know where to get one other than a junkyard. The ones at the junkyards seem to be in just as bad as shape as what i am trying read more

Whats with my truck? The truck is a 78 scottsdale, but had to get a reman engine in 2000; but It’s got a 350 long block, I had both heads redone. I had one shaved but not the other, the compression on one side is around 180, on the other side it varies its like 150 I believe to be the highest, and 120 to be the lowest.
