My 99 Audi has some tears/rips in the driver seat I want to fix. Is this possible? Its not real leather seats they’re pleather I think..How can I fix the cracks and tears? Know better? Share your own opinion in the comments!

I know premium is the recommended fuel for this car. However, I’m also a college student looking to save a buck here or there so I was wondering what the repricussions would be if I put lower grade fuel in. Would it damage the fuel system or engine in any way, or would it just hurt the performance. How do I repair my interior window trim?

I have an Audi A4 Quattro and the strip of trim just inside the door near where the top of the window meets the roof is sagging. I’m sure I could go to the dealer and have them fix it, but that’s a hassle and I’m sure some of you will have a great response for me. Can I use something like a glue gun or spray adhesive or will summer heat cause the sagging to continue? It’s a long foamy fabric piece. read more

how hard is it to replace the transmission on a audi a4?

I have an 02 Audi a4 1.8 turbo that needs the automatic transmission replaced. Repairs at the dealer cost way too much for me right now, a couple of thousand, I was wondering if I get a replacement used auto trans how hard would it be to do this at home? would I need any special tools? This is my son’s car and he is deployed. I questioned the repair guy and he said no problem with changing the battery I even questioned something about the MPH, thinking it wouldn’t go over a certain speed. But what I realized is it will run normal but the MPH is wrong. Going 55 mph says I am going 22 mph. Is this a simple fix and can I do it. Just sign me as Mom not a mechanic. Give your opinion below!

I have a 2003 Audi A4 1.8T with 76K miles and it does not want to drive smooth between 20-40 mph. It might not be obvious to some but from driving different types of cars I can tell there is something unusual.
