2007 AUDI A3 S LINE The A3 heads into its second year with no major changes. This little Audi shares its platform, four-cylinder engine and transmissions with the Volkswagen GTI. The A3 is offered as a hatchback sedan, in two-wheel or on-demand all-wheel-drive versions. The four-cylinder model powers its front wheels with a two-litre engine. Only the 3.2L V6 version is available with all-wheel drive. In terms of size, the A3 is shorter and wider than the Honda Civic.
Interior and trunk The vehicle’s low stance and the prominent sport side bolsters complicate access to the front. Because of the big side bolsters, the sport seats are really only suitable for slim people. The standard seats are not as bad, but they, too, do not fit stocky people. You eventually get comfortable in both types of seats, but some people will still feel like they’re sitting on rather than between the side bolsters. The driver gets a very, very good driving position.
In the back, the narrow doors make it hard to get in and out. The bench seat is comfortable for two adults, with head and leg room at a premium…
